an evening of one acts was a hilarious success
February 11, 2009

i went to the opening night of the purchase college senior acting conservatory’s comedic presentation of evening of one acts, and for $5 rush tickets to purchase college students, it is absolutely worth seeing!

the skits ranged from a wide variety of topics from outrageous dating game shows to rapping about the economy to murdering a cocaine dealer’s dog named pillsbury (like the dough boy). but the whole time, i was laughing.

for the most part, i was also impressed with the acting and writing. (although definitely not suitable for children) it was very relatable humor to most anyone. and it was great to see our fellow purchase college student-actors present a very charismatic and entertaining experience.

although i wouldn’t suggest it as a family outing, (be ready for some rather crude humor) it is definitely worth going to see at least once. although now that i’ve seen it, i think i am going to drag a few friends to it. but it was really $5 well spent! i would highly recommend it!
